What does this cost us to use the app?
Nothing. You pay the Service Pro directly. There are no hidden fees from LOWO, and we don’t pre-determine pricing to take a big piece of the pie, either.
How does LOWO work?
Easy as ordering a car: Open the app and locate Service Pros in the area where you need work done. You can research and select the Service Pro you would like. Your service request goes directly to the Service Pro's phone.
What happens if the Service Pro does not accept the request?
You will return to the map so that you can locate and select another Service Pro. We never tell you which Service Pro to use, or send somebody to do work.
How does LOWO vet the Service Pros?
We believe the best vetting is done by those who have experience with the Service Pro. You and your neighbors and friends have already done all of the vettings.
Can I invite my preferred Service Pros to use the app?
Absolutely! We designed the system just for this purpose so that when you need your preferred Service Pros, you don’t have to call and wait for a response. Feel free to Invite all of your preferred Service Pros to download the app and login. Then when you need their services you can tell whether they are close by and available. You might even get to the point of requiring your preferred Service Pros to use LOWO. Why not?
Are there reviews for the Service Providers available?
Yes, we developed the app so that you can review them on the app which we believe will build a stronger community and hold Service Pros accountable. The more you review the Service Pros, the bigger the community.
Do you facilitate billing, or take payments, for the Service Pros?
No. We're looking at adding the ability for you to pay the Service Pro directly through the app, but we don’t want to get in the middle of your business, or your relationship. And while LOWO may offer a way to pay in the future, we won’t force it. We don’t like being told what to do and thought you wouldn’t either.
Who sets the Service Pro's pricing?
You and the Service Pro do. You negotiate these rates and pay them directly.
Will I be able to cancel service without any fees?
LOWO will never charge you any cancelation fees.
What if I don't like the Service Pro?
You don’t have to send them a service request. And be sure to review every Service Pro which provides you service, include why in your review to help us build a stronger community and accountable service providers in your area.
Will my contact and location information be made available?
Your contact and location information will only be made available by you, or once a service request is accepted by the Service Pro (so that the Service Pro knows where to perform the service). You control who can see this and can block anyone at any time.
Can LOWO accept my credit card as payment if the Service Pro does not?
Not currently, but we're looking at this as a feature, we like to connect you directly to help keep your cost down with no hidden, or additional fees.
How does LOWO work?
LOWO uses your phone’s location to show potential customers where you are physically located and whether you are available to provide service, accept work. Think hyper local lead generation!

How much does LOWO cost me?
The app is free. We charge $5 for each service request you accept, but for Service Pros who register now and Toggle On, we won't charge you a nickel for any accepted service requests. Ever.
Are there any hidden fees? Do I have to pay a % of my service?
Nope. You bill the Homeowner, Property Manager, or Builder directly. There are no hidden fees from LOWO. You pay a flat fee of $5 to LOWO for the direct service request you accept (unless you are one of the lucky Service Pros "early adopters").
Can I set up automatic billing?
Not yet. We’re working on this along with many other features.
Will I have to update my phone to download LOWO?
LOWO is available for iOS (iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch — and requires iOS 10.3 or later) and Android.
Do I have to have a smartphone to use LOWO?
Yup, it’s an app that uses your phone’s GPS capabilities.
But, what if I don't want people to know my exact location?
We don't want people knowing our location either. LOWO utilizes technology to mask your exact location while putting you close enough on the map so that customers know you’re in the area.
What location services setting should I use?
We strongly recommend setting your phone Location Services to "Always On" so that you and potential customers are provided the most accurate information.
Why do I have to use the "Always On" setting?
If you don't, then the app will show you in your last known location (where you were when you last used the app), and you’ll need to keep LOWO active on your phone. Don’t fret: You can toggle off within LOWO so that customers can't see your location or availability.
Sure but isn't LOWO always tracking my phone then?
OK, yes, but we don’t do anything with the information.
You mean to tell me that LOWO doesn't sell my location information?
That's correct. Selling your location data violates our core values and is a major “no-no.” We treat Service Pros, Homeowners, Property Managers, and Builders the way we want to be treated.
